MICCAI 2020, the 23rd International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention, will be held from October 4th to 8th, 2020 in Lima, Peru. MICCAI 2020 is organized in collaboration with Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP).
The annual MICCAI conference attracts world leading biomedical scientists, engineers, and clinicians from a wide range of disciplines associated with medical imaging and computer assisted intervention.
The conference series includes three days of oral presentations and poster sessions. MICCAI 2020 will also include workshops, tutorials, and challenges on the days preceding and succeeding the conference. These satellite events will offer a comprehensive forum to further explore topics relevant to MICCAI.

We would like to update you on the MICCAI 2020 conference as follows.
The MICCAI 2020 conference preparations are proceeding as planned. We have received 1,800 paper submissions and are in the process of reviewing them. We have accepted 25 challenges and 25 workshops, and 10 tutorials are under review. Details on these events will be announced shortly. The proceedings of the conference and selected satellite events will be published by Springer as planned.
Our current plan is to hold the MICCAI 2020 conference in Lima, Peru on Oct 4-8, 2020. We are closely monitoring the developments related to the COVID-19 sanitary situation. We are carefully considering all aspects of this situation and consulting with a variety of experts; we can assure you that all appropriate measures will be in place as needed.
We will promptly inform the community and all related parties if we need to change the format of the conference.
The MICCAI 2020 Organizing Committee
