Dear colleagues
It is our great pleasure and privilege to welcome you to the virtual edition of MICCAI 2020, the 23rd International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention. The conference will be held from October 4th to 8th, 2020 and is now accessible to registered participants worldwide.
The annual MICCAI conference attracts world leading biomedical scientists, engineers, and clinicians from a wide range of disciplines associated with medical imaging and computer assisted intervention.
For the 23rd edition of the conference, we have put together an exciting program consisting of 540 peer-reviewed papers that will be presented in three days as posters and orals organized in moderated topical sessions for questions and answers. The conference includes 57 satellite events consisting of workshops, tutorials, and challenges on the days preceding and succeeding the conference. These satellite events offer a comprehensive forum to further explore topics relevant to MICCAI. The conference includes live sessions with three prominent invited speakers, a panel with the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), an industry panel with representatives of leading companies, a start-up village event, and virtual sponsor booths. It also includes a Women in MICCAI session, a mentorship program for for students and young researchers, and a variety of networking and social events organized by the MICCAI Student Board.
While we will all miss the irreplaceable enrichment of a physical in-person meeting, the virtual conference offers many advantages. You will never miss a paper, session, panel, or discussion as all events and presentations are recorded and are available online at any time. You will have more time to view more papers, go more in depth, and ask questions online and offline directly to all presenters. We are confident that you will enjoy these advantages!
To access the MICCAI 2020 Virtual platform and start enjoying and evaluating its content, please register first.
We look forward to virtually seeing you at the conference!
Leo Joskowicz and Daniel Racoceanu
